We currently have around 19% more foreign lags at large than we did in 2019

More than one thousand foreign criminals, including terrorists, rapists and murderers, are on the run.

We currently have around 19% more foreign lags at large than we did in 2019.

These include people like Iraqi Rezgar Zengana, who posed as a taxi driver to pick up his 25-year-old victim outside a Radisson Hotel before raping her at a flat in Glasgow in December 2006.

He was convicted of that rape and then granted bail before he was sentenced and he’s just. disappeared.

Among those listed as missing are five murderers and 38 violent offenders. There are also up to five terrorists, 11 rapists, several paedophiles and 13 other sex offenders.

Apparently the largest proportion of missing fugitives – 352 – are drugs offenders, including gangsters suspected of smuggling huge quantities of cocaine and heroin into the country.

But the amount of people we’re catching has gone down. Data released under freedom of information laws also shows that there has been a 15 per cent fall in the number of foreign criminals successfully captured. Last year the Home Office located 189 of them compared with 222 in 2020.

So, we have more dangerous foreign criminals on the run, and less of them being caught.

All of that is shocking enough, but there’s more to this. And I actually think this is more pertinent than the foreigners on the run angle to this story.

Tim Loughton of the Home Affairs Select Committee revealed that we have 9,000 foreign nationals in prison. I had a look at what our entire prison population is for England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland and it’s around 87 and a half thousand.

So we have imported 10% of our entire prison population. 10% of everyone in UK prisons right now immigrated to Britain, and we let them in.

When you add that to the 1,094 foreigners who are on the run, that takes the total to around 12%.

When you look at these stats the only conclusions to come to are this: We are accepting the dregs of the world in many cases, Britain is getting less safe as a result, our prisons are being overcrowded with violent, dodgy foreign thugs, we’re not deporting anywhere near enough of them and we’re letting terrorists, rapists, pedophiles and murderers evade justice so they can continue to pose a threat to innocent, law abiding Brits.

We have enough people in Britain as it is.

Why not deport all foreign nationals in British prisons, or put them in prison on an island somewhere far away from here?

If you move to Britain and commit a crime in this country you should not be welcome here. As for those on the run, it’s vital that we round them up and get them deported before they ruin any more lives.
